Care to respond guys and gals??? Is closure important when a relationship ends??

I have this to share to all of you. My girlfriend recently broke up with me. the reason was that she doesnt want to continue hurting me because most of the time she keeps on remembering his ex. (yeah right) She broke up with me wherein im in the point of our relationship that really getting more and more serious with her. (you must say im kidding but im not). then just out of the blue poof she broked up with me with the idea that she didnt want to hurt me anymore..(am i getting anywhere with what im saying) well to make the long story short do i really need to ask her what is the true reason she broked up with me (its not that i dont trust her or anything its just that there is a feeling inside of me that i want to know why) some kind of a closure....if you have the time to answer my query then feel free to do so...thanks in advance..

Ask her, just be sure you are ready for her answer. It might not so appealing to you, get ready to get hurt and expect to cry because as you've said you love her so much... :) After hearing it, move on, this is just a new beginning for you...

thanks for the replies guys..so most of you answered that i should follow what my heart says and that is i should ask her for the real reason..i think i will.. thanks guys... and before i go, to the one who said that if im a player, dude im not, players are for losers.. thats what i think about players...

haayyyy...well..i think a formal closure of the relationship is important because it will really end everything between the two of you...you'd stop giving FALSE HOPES to yourself and most importantly it would be easier for you to move on...i salute you for not being one of those guys who'd think love is just a game they have to play and they should win...they really don't know what love is...
